Savannah Children's Book Festival

The Savannah Children's Book Festival is this Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Forsyth Park from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Sponsored by Live Oak Public Libraries and the City of Savannah, this annual festival presents writers and illustrators who create books for children and young adult readers. A quick look at the map reveals what a fun event this promises to be - in addition to book signings there are multiple craft tables, costumed characters, reading dogs, and much more! With the beautiful fall season here in Savannah, the Savannah Children's Book Festival is a great outdoors event that also promotes a love of reading for all ages.
